Pins & Presses ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — name, email address, password (hashed), profile photo, and golf handicap index.
- League and gameplay data — leagues you create or join, teams, matches, scorecards, hole-by-hole scores, attestations, and chat messages.
- Wallet and payment data — wallet balance, transaction history, and wager records. Payment card details are handled exclusively by Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Device and usage data — device type, OS version, app version, IP address, crash reports, and basic analytics needed to operate the Service.
- User-generated content — photos, videos, and chat messages you post to your league.
How We Use Your Information
- To run your golf leagues — track scores, standings, handicaps, and statistics.
- To process payments, settle wagers, and credit your wallet.
- To send transactional notifications (round reminders, score postings, payouts).
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To diagnose bugs, monitor performance, and improve the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Other members of your league — your name, handicap, scores, and league-related activity are visible to leagues you have joined.
- Stripe — for payment processing. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to card data.
- Service providers — hosting, database, push notification, and analytics vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement — when required by valid legal process.
Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Account) or by emailing leaguecaddieadmin@gmail.com. Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other regions with applicable privacy laws have additional rights including the right to opt out of certain processing.
Children
Pins & Presses is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app and update the "Last updated" date above.
